Job Description:

The SAP Basis Consultant role at NTT DATA involves managing SAP systems and HANA databases, implementing ChaRM, and ensuring compliance readiness. Candidates should have strong SAP BASIS expertise and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication is essential. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administration, configuration, and management of SAP systems and HANA database
  • System monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization across multiple SAP modules
  • SAP installations, upgrades, patching, transport management, and backup/recovery processes
  • Database management, primarily SAP HANA
  • Implementation and support of ChaRM (Change Request Management) within SAP Solution Manager
  • Managing end-to-end change management processes including creation, approval, testing, and deployment of changes
  • Troubleshooting ChaRM-related issues, managing retrofit scenarios, and ensuring audit/compliance readiness

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on SAP BASIS expertise
  • Experience with ChaRM implementation and support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP environments
  • Consultant needs to work in Multiple shifts 6AM to 2PM or 2PM to 10PM or 10PM to 6AM shift need to swap based on the project requirement and needs to have a good communication skills
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience in ChaRM implementation and support within SAP Solution Manager
  • Must be proficient in end-to-end change management processes (creation, approval, testing, and deployment of changes)
  • Ability to troubleshoot ChaRM-related issues, manage retrofit scenarios, and ensure audit/compliance readiness

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Sybase/MaxDB is an added advantage
