Job Description

BAE Systems are looking for an experienced SAP Basis / BTP DevOps Engineer to join a growing Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes while helping to maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing SAP services

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the availability, performance, and security of SAP platforms
  • Designing and implementing SAP landscape and connectivity improvements
  • Configuring and maintaining SAP BTP connectivity solutions including SAP Cloud Connector and SAProuter
  • Supporting secure integrations between SAP systems, SAP BTP, and third-party platforms
  • Performing SAP installations, upgrades, patches, kernel updates, transports, and system copies
  • Troubleshooting incidents and driving root cause resolution
  • Working closely with Product Teams, Architects, Security, and Integration teams to support cloud-enabled architectures and DevOps delivery practices
  • Supporting automation, governance, and continuous service improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on SAP Basis administration experience
  • Solid technical knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
  • SAP NetWeaver
