We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to provide L2/L3 support for complex SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, Solution Manager, BTP, Azure hosted environments, and SAP Web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in BASIS and HANA/Sybase database administration, proactive issue resolution, and cross functional coordination in a managed service delivery model. This role demands operational excellence, SLA adherence, and continuous learning in a dynamic global support setup.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver L2/L3 technical support for SAP BASIS infrastructure in compliance with SLAs and KPIs
Manage SAP systems including S/4HANA, Solman, BTP, and SAP Web applications hosted on Azure
Perform system upgrades, kernel patching, add on installations, and SSL certificate management
Administer HANA and Sybase databases, including backup, recovery, performance tuning, and space management
Execute BASIS operations such as system refreshes, client copies, parameter changes, job scheduling, RFC configuration, and SICF services
Handle P1/P2 incidents with urgency and precision, ensuring timely resolution and de escalation
Monitor system performance, memory usage, and troubleshoot critical issues across SAP landscapes
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with cross functional teams for seamless delivery of services in a 24/7 global support model
Track and report SLA/KPI metrics
ensure compliance with ITIL best practices
Support onboarding and mentoring of junior team members
contribute to knowledge sharing and team enablement
Stay current with SAP technologies, tools, and industry trends
actively pursue cross skilling opportunities
Participate in team meetings, service reviews, and operational governance forums
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Higher Degree
Strong hands on experience in SAP BASIS administration (5–10 years)
Proficiency in managing S/4HANA, Solman, BTP, and SAP Web applications
Expertise in HANA and Sybase database operations
Solid understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and memory management
Experience in managed service delivery and global support environments
Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA/KPI tracking
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work in high pressure scenarios and coordinate across teams
Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support critical business operations
Nice to have:
Prior experience in ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services)
