Job Description:

As the SAP SAC/Datasphere Architect you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization for our SAP analytics and data integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SAC, Datasphere, data analytics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be working closely with SAP, internal sales and delivery teams and customers to define and scale SAP Analytics implementation and adoption.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and communicate the strategic vision and goals for the SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere platforms (Business Data Cloud)
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer needs in analytics, data, and planning to drive innovation and differentiation
  • Provide product knowledge input assistance for compiling client proposals
  • Own and be accountable for the SAP Data and Analytics workstream in client proposals
  • Write RFI/RFP responses and bids and obtain vendor product certification for the product portfolio
  • Analyse customer data and transformation scenarios to produce recommendations and reports
  • Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop accelerators or templates to enable repeatable delivery of SAP Analytics
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Analytics, supporting sales cycles, solution demos, and executive briefings
  • Develop compelling value propositions, marketing collateral, and enablement materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with SAP architects, developers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure the seamless integration of SAC and Datasphere with other SAP modules and business processes
  • Foster collaboration and communication across teams to achieve common goals
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define and prioritize analytics and data integration requirements
  • Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs including technical specifications and commercial impacts (licensing requirements)
  • Develop reusable assets, reference architectures, and integration blueprints to accelerate project delivery for clients
  • Evaluate trade-off and pros and cons of architecture options based on requirements such as TCO, scalability, infrastructure requirements etc.
  • Oversee SAP Analytics delivery engagements and provide guidance to delivery teams when required
  • Hands-on delivery activities as and when required to ensure project success
  • Lead and deliver proof of concepts
  • Scope projects and define workstreams including effort estimation
  • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for SAC and Datasphere users
  • Deliver knowledge sharing sessions and share technical and go-to-market product collateral with delivery and sales teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role (e.g., technical presales, solution architect, delivery consultant), with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (including Planning) and Datasphere and/or SAP BW/4HANA
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics architectures, SAP’s data strategy, and integration with non-SAP data sources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable tasks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools
  • Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud or related field is a plus

  • Experience with S/4 Embedded Analytics
  • TOGAF
