The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP technical solutions. This role requires strong expertise in ABAP, BOPF, and RICEF objects, along with collaboration with functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and a commitment to quality and timely delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs across SAP modules
Implement custom developments including BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization
Develop and support Reports (ALV / Interactive), Interfaces (IDOCs, RFC, BAPI, OData, Web Services), Conversions (BDC, LSMW, Migration Cockpit), Enhancements (Implicit/Explicit, BADIs, User Exits), Forms (Smartforms and Adobe Forms)
Develop and enhance BOPF business objects
Support integration with Fiori/OData where applicable
Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Ensure adherence to coding standards and quality processes
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Prepare technical design documents and KT materials
Participate in Reverse KT and cross-team knowledge sharing
Requirements:
6–8 years of strong SAP ABAP development experience
Proven expertise in RICEF development
Hands-on experience with BOPF framework
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Exposure to OData, CDS Views and BTP (preferred)
Experience in at least one functional module (SD, MM and logistics)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder coordination
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
