Job Responsibility:
Lead development and integration using ABAP and SAP technologies, including Cloud environments
Design, build, test, optimize, and maintain scalable software in line with architectural guidelines
Conduct requirements analysis, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality solutions
Support deployments, maintenance, and releases
Act as a key technical contact for product teams and stakeholders
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
Plan and estimate project scope and timelines to ensure timely delivery
Produce functional and technical specifications, test plans, and documentation
Promote coding standards and software quality, ensuring maintainable and secure code
Participate in agile ceremonies and perform code reviews
Identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
Produce clear technical and customer-facing documentation
Provide customer support, including occasional after-hours assistance (*to be defined later)
Requirements:
Minimum 7-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and project planning
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Proficient in SAP S/4HANA 2022+ and ECC 6.0 platforms, with hands-on experience in the FI module, including journal postings and related processes
Advanced ABAP skills: Object-Oriented Programming, MVC architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, Core Data Services (CDS) views, and HANA Query Analyzer
Experienced in SAP integrations and modernization: BDC, User Exits, BAdIs, SAP Clean Core, web services (configuration, consumption, testing)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive in learning and adapting to new SAP technologies
Willingness to work 2 days per week at the client’s office in Krakow
Nice to have:
Knowledge of SAP BTP/Steampunk, ABAP RAP (cloud-native), automated testing (C#/Selenium), FI special postings (FISL, FICA), and Fiori UI development
