We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Professional with 5–8 years of hands-on development experience and up to 10+ years in Enterprise Applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP ABAP, SDLC processes, and a solid understanding of SAP business processes across key functional modules.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and enhance SAP applications in ABAP across ECC 5.0 and higher systems
Perform detailed technical analysis with deep understanding of SAP master data, transaction data, and cross-functional processes within SD, MM, FICO, and PP
Design and implement solutions using various ABAP development techniques: BADIs, Enhancements, BAPIs, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Reports, SAP Scripts & SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Interfaces, Conversion Programs
Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and abstraction layers (Open SQL vs Native SQL, Data Dictionary, OS commands)
Develop applications using ABAP Objects with object-oriented design principles
Perform root cause analysis using SAP tools: ABAP Debugger, Application Logs, Code Optimizer, SQL Trace, Transport & Version Management
Work with various integration and interface technologies: Webservices, PROXY, EDI/IDOC, XI/PI
Utilize automation and testing tools such as eCATT, Transaction Recorder, and BDC programming
Strictly adhere to the SDLC process, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Read, understand, create, and review technical specifications, unit test documents, test scripts, and conduct code reviews
Requirements:
5–8 years of SAP ABAP development experience (ECC 5.0 and above) with strong Core ABAP skills
Experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SAP ABAP development frameworks
Good knowledge of S/4HANA ABAP is an added advantage
Strong understanding of SAP business documents, master data, transaction data, and integration across primary modules: SD, MM, FICO, and PP
