Job Description:

This position maintains sanitary conditions in the processing plant, ensuring adherence to Lamb Weston food safety and sanitation standards.

Job Responsibility:

Maintains sanitary conditions in the processing plant
Performs cleaning with high-pressure hoses, tools, and cleaning agents
Operates all machinery safely using lock-out when necessary
Removes static product, foreign material, and product buildup from equipment or assigned areas
Properly mixes and uses potentially hazardous chemicals to clean and sanitize
Operates pallet jacks for rock and product tote removal
Paints machinery, walls, etc. as directed
Participates in AMD drumbeats and other continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Sanitation certification is required (training provided if not qualified)
Ability to perform basic math functions
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements
Ability to work with hands and arms overhead
Ability to work in or under the equipment
Manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance
Ability to operate work related equipment
Specific vision abilities (close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus)
Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
