We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor to oversee and lead sanitation operations within our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves managing a team to ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and safety protocols while maintaining a clean and audit-ready environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to address challenges proactively.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and lead the sanitation team, ensuring adherence to performance standards, attendance policies, and safe work practices
Plan and allocate daily sanitation tasks to meet established protocols, production timelines, and regulatory requirements
Conduct inspections of equipment and facility cleanliness, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of cleaning chemicals to comply with safety and regulatory standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance, and Quality, to optimize sanitation processes
Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including daily logs, chemical inventories, and compliance documentation
Provide training and coaching to sanitation staff, including onboarding and refresher programs
Monitor and track sanitation supplies, initiating inventory counts and requisitioning items as required
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance sanitation efficiency, safety outcomes, and overall effectiveness
Communicate daily updates regarding sanitation performance, challenges, and readiness for production start-ups
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
additional education or certifications in sanitation or safety preferred
Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or sanitation-related role
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and sanitation practices
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
Physical ability to perform duties in varying environmental conditions and lift items up to 30 lbs
Familiarity with chemical handling and compliance standards
Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed
