Job Description:

As a Sandwich Maker, you’ll play a key role in preparing, assembling, and packing sandwiches and other food products while maintaining food safety standards and a clean work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assemble food service items as per standard recipe
  • Use weighing scales for weight checks when required
  • Record QA documents in real time
  • Package and label prepared products for distribution
  • Clean and prepare fresh produce items
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment and fixture surfaces as per provincial and company standards
  • Perform daily sanitation of the facility
  • Follow allergen policy and perform daily checks (Critical control points and control points)
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and follow GMP and food safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and final product presentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Experience with food service equipment such as wrapping machines, metal detectors, conveyor belts, thermometers, and weighing scales
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs and work in cold environments for extended periods
