Are you a precise craftsman with experience in surface treatment, looking for a stable job with daytime hours within a close-knit team? As a sandblaster, you will step into a professional and well-equipped workshop every day. This is not monotonous assembly line work, but a responsible position where you are in charge of the perfect pre-treatment of various metal structures and components. You will join a collegial, down-to-earth work environment where true craftsmanship is highly valued. The atmosphere on the shop floor is informal and open: we work efficiently, but there is always time for a good chat and a laugh among colleagues.

Job Responsibility

  • Expertly and manually sandblasting various iron parts and components inside a modern blasting cabin
  • Accurately taping and masking specific zones of the components that should not be treated
  • Using a forklift to internally transport and position the parts to be blasted, both indoors and outdoors
  • Performing visual quality checks on the blasted work to ensure the parts are perfectly ready for the next step (such as metallization or powder coating)
  • Responsibly maintaining the blasting cabin and your tools to ensure you always work in a safe and clean environment

Requirements

  • Relevant experience as a sandblaster, grit blaster, or surface treatment operator is strictly required for this role
  • You are fully capable of working independently
  • pay great attention to detail
  • work very accurately when preparing and masking materials
  • Having a valid forklift certificate is a definite plus
  • You speak at least English fluently
  • a good knowledge of Dutch is highly preferred
