Labcorp is seeking a Sample Handling Workflow Lead to join our team at Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Work Schedule: Rotating Shift.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the receipt and the processing of data registration from requisition forms
  • Research and resolve problems liaising with Project Management, Specimen Management, Investigator Support, Laboratory and Data Revision Center
  • Ensure proper progression of activities and good organization within the team
  • Support management on predefined tasks
  • Perform main functions of the department including accessioning and data entry
  • Create batches using ImageNow and export them in Excel
  • Distribute batches to teamwide
  • Verify incoming volumes compared to created batches
  • Email follow up with stakeholders
  • Organize and/or reorganize team members to adapt to daily volume changes
  • Evaluate performance of team members
  • Act as trainer/mentor for new hires
  • Handle departmental emails
  • Follow up on inactive projects
  • Lead the team to meet departmental goals
  • Analyze and evaluate new process improvement proposals
  • Lead implementation of process changes
  • Mentor potential employee for succession planning
  • Assume leadership role in supervisor’s absence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science
  • 4 years of work experience in a Clinical research industry
