Job Responsibility

Manages all functions associated with operation and process control of the Easterly or Westerly wastewater treatment plant
Ensures the operating efficiency of all treatment plant processes to achieve a quality treated effluent
Implements efforts to continuously improve plant operating efficiency
Ensures proper sampling
maintains records and prepares reports
Makes critical decisions regarding plant operational problems, overflows and bypasses, emergency responses, evacuation and emergency maintenance
Identifies process problems, recommends process adjustments and implements necessary adjustments
Plans, directs, schedules and supervises employees in the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant
Assigns and delegates work to meet performance objectives and provides guidance to assist staff

Complaint Management: Intakes, assesses for regulatory reportability, and triages assigned complaints. Designs and executes complex experiments and performs complex complaint investigations including investigation approach determination, experimental design, testing, analyses, and resolution. Triages investigations to other internal departments or manufacturers as needed and follows up with the escalated parties until complaint resolution.
