Job Description:

As a SALT Manager, you'll be primarily involved in the design, development, and optimization of software tools for multi-state tax compliance and reporting. In addition, you will play a significant role in automating repetitive tax processes and developing systems to collect, analyze, and store tax data.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and optimize software tools to facilitate multi-state tax compliance and reporting
  • Automate repetitive tax processes such as nexus determination, apportionment calculations, and tax return generation
  • Develop and maintain systems for tax data collection, storage, and analysis
  • Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams through data analysis
  • Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive tax information via best practices in data management
  • Provide technical support to tax teams by troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, tax professionals, and external vendors, to guarantee that software meets business needs
  • Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records
  • Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
