Our client, a rapidly expanding organisation within the construction materials industry, is seeking a Junior Salesperson to join their dynamic team. Job Responsibility:
Manage daily delivery schedules and confirm dispatches with suppliers
Provide customers with accurate and timely delivery updates
Support in resolving supply or delivery challenges
Conduct a minimum of 4 hours of outbound cold calling each day, targeting contractors and construction sites
Maintain accurate activity records and schedule follow-up calls
Visit multiple sites to introduce the company's products and services
Build strong working relationships with key decision-makers across the sector
Attend customer offices with samples and branded marketing materials
Strengthen existing relationships and identify new sales opportunities
Develop knowledge of products, pricing structures, and supplier networks
Shadow senior team members to support career progression
Requirements:
1-3 years' sales experience (construction industry background is advantageous)
Strong communication skills, both over the phone and in person
A full UK driving licence is essential
Comfortable working within a small, rapidly developing team
Highly driven, ambitious, and able to meet targets consistently
