Job Description:

We're currently looking for a motivated salesperson to support our Hokitika store. You will be working on a casual basis, and we require flexibility across the week. Availability between 8am–5pm is preferred. Reporting to the Business Manager, your key focus will be providing great service to shareholders in our retail store.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing retail sales and customer service to shareholders
  • Giving advice to customers on a range of dairy, equine, sheep and beef and general agricultural products
  • Operating a point of sale (POS) system
  • Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock
  • Restocking and displaying products

Requirements:

  • Sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of products and services
  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Sound computer skills
  • Full clean Class 1 driver's license
  • Physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
