Job Description

We're currently looking for a motivated salesperson to support our Wellsford store. You will be working on a casual basis, covering sickness and annual leave, and we require flexibility across the week. Reporting to the Business Manager, your key focus will be providing great service to shareholders in our retail store.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders
  • Giving advice to customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock, and general agricultural products
  • Operating a point of sale (POS) system
  • Helping and maintaining the bulk store
  • Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock

Requirements

  • Sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of products and services
  • proven experience in retail sales or customer service
  • sound computer skills
  • full clean Class 1 driver's license
  • physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
