Job Description:

The role of Salesforce Senior Solution Architect works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that HammondCare’s internal Platforms team can support ongoing development of technical solutions to support business process and can get best value from its investment in all Platform Applications. This role manages the Platform Solution Development Team as the direct report manager, supporting, coaching and mentoring the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage Platform Solution Development Team as the direct report manager, supporting, coaching and mentoring your team with their professional development goals
  • Oversee the HammondCare Platform Architecture strategy and execution of the Platform Roadmap
  • Ensure processes are in place to align HammondCare Solution Design and Architecture to best practice, optimising the platform for performance, scalability and security
  • Participate in long-term strategic planning and governance committees
  • Overseeing and participate in the design and development of Salesforce applications and integrations
  • Work with all Salesforce automation and development features such as Flow, Lightning, Apex, and APIs
  • Work closely with the platforms team members to deliver successful features into the HammondCare Salesforce Platforms
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and chairs the design council
  • Support the agile development process and technical work assignment within the platform team, including mentoring and coaching more junior employees with their work
  • Be ready to present and report on technology work being undertaken to governance teams and the business
  • Provide design consultation support whenever needed to support the broader technology and digital marketing teams, supporting expert collaboration
  • Work with the Platforms Manager to maintain and monitor system releases
  • When needed, work with the business to elicit requirements, analyze, evaluate and scope application configuration changes, installations or new development requests into user story backlogs
  • Liaise and grow relationships with external Salesforce Implementation Partners, third party app vendors and Salesforce Account Managers where needed
  • Encouraging growth in Salesforce skills across the organization but especially within the Platforms team
  • Maintain high levels of effective communications and collaborations within the ICT team and other portfolios across the organisation

Requirements:

  • Salesforce Certified Solution Architect or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in a technical Salesforce Role, leadership/management experience
  • Able to collaboration and communicate across different roles, including the Senior Leaderships Team
  • Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organization desirable
  • Additional coding, development, data and programming capabilities desirable
  • Salesforce Certification: Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architect desirable
  • Agile/Scrum qualifications, along with experience with Confluence and Jira applications desirable

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organization desirable
  • Additional coding, development, data and programming capabilities desirable
  • Salesforce Certification: Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architect desirable
  • Agile/Scrum qualifications, along with experience with Confluence and Jira applications desirable
