Job Description

The Principal Consultant is a key strategic team member of the Turnberry Salesforce Practice and brings a strong skillset for analytical problem-solving. The Principal Consultant will serve as a thought leader in the organization and be able to guide clients and sellers in the pre-sales solutioning process, as well as provide solution oversight to various project teams in multiple capacities. As a Principal Consultant, you will provide solution design and consulting services to clients, oversee the architecture and build of Salesforce solutions while supporting best-in-class sales and delivery teams using industry best practices and standards. This role is a Principal Consultant focused on the Manufacturing/Construction industry that understands that development teams will be utilizing advanced low-code skills on the Salesforce platform. In addition, this person will create visions and architect Salesforce solutions for clients during the sales cycle that will drive their business outcomes to successfully achieve their goals and objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead pre-sales solutioning efforts where a consultant needs to gather/validate a potential client’s requirements with multiple Salesforce products and complex integrations
  • Lead and facilitate design, consulting, and requirements gathering sessions with clients during sales meetings
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and provide strategic recommendations and approaches in conjunction with other team leads and client stakeholders for sales purposes
  • Estimate project delivery efforts using a variety of pricing models including time and materials, fixed fee, and others
  • Recommend delivery team structure and resource mix for successful outcomes and client success
  • Facilitate thorough and detailed sales-to-delivery transition knowledge transfer, remaining engaged during solution build and delivery to maintain solution integrity
  • Collaborate on design and architecture of Salesforce solutions in collaboration with technical counterparts
  • Work with senior client stakeholders to ensure project success, including handling escalations
  • Collaborate with sales to engage with client on additional phases, new engagements, and managed services opportunities

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Salesforce certifications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud Consultant, Manufacturing Cloud, and Field Service Consultant
  • Experience in all phases of systems development life cycle within Sales, Service and Experience Cloud implementations
  • Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g. Scrum)
  • Excellent executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate to both business and technical stakeholders in a way each audience will understand
  • Ability to be onsite with prospective clients for sales meetings and proposal presentations
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
