The Opportunity: As a Presales Solution Architect – Salesforce, you’ll act as the technical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforce’s ecosystem — including Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and Data Clouds. You’ll partner closely with Horizontal’s sales and delivery teams to lead pre-sales, define cross-cloud architectures, and translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes. You’ll balance 50% sales and strategy with 50% technical delivery oversight, owning and co-ordinating the full solution lifecycle from pre-sale to client success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of client-facing consulting and/or pre-sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Proven track record in solutioning and selling multi-cloud Salesforce transformations (Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage C-level executives in outcome-driven discussions
  • Salesforce certifications across Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
