Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments across multiple orgs and sandboxes
  • Set up and manage version control systems (Git) for Salesforce metadata and code
  • Automate testing, code quality checks, and security scans as part of the deployment process
  • Manage sandbox environments—refreshes, seeding, and keeping them in sync
  • Build release management processes that reduce risk and increase deployment frequency
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and work with developers to resolve issues quickly
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, pipelines, and best practices
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and DevOps industry trends

Requirements:

  • 8+ years working with Salesforce in a development or DevOps capacity
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX), including scratch orgs and source-driven development
  • Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps platforms like Flosum
  • Understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployment types (change sets, ANT, Metadata API)
  • Experience managing multiple Salesforce orgs and sandbox environments
  • Good communication skills—you'll need to explain technical stuff to non-technical folks
