Higher Education is undergoing a massive digital shift, and we need a Salesforce Developer who can help us to modernise the digital experience across the entire student lifecycle leveraging the Salesforce Education Cloud. At PA, you will be part of a team that respects technical craft. We aren't looking for someone to simply clear a ticket queue; we need a developer who considers the long-term scalability of their work and takes pride in creating elegant solutions to the nuanced problems faced by modern universities.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain solutions on Salesforce Education Cloud to enhance the student lifecycle experience
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Build custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools within Salesforce
Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and middleware, ensuring data consistency and security
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practices, applying them to improve solutions
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in Salesforce development
Salesforce Platform Administrator certification
Education Cloud Consultant certification desired
Understanding of Salesforce architecture and its ecosystem
Proficient with programming languages such as Apex and JavaScript
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs
Must meet UK residency requirements for potential security clearance (British citizen or resident in the UK for the past 5 years)
