Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Design Lead to act as the critical bridge between high level solution architecture and hands on Salesforce execution. This role requires deep technical design roots. We are not looking for a generalist; you must know the nuances of the Salesforce Education Cloud ecosystem inside out. You will be responsible for translating complex institutional requirements into robust, scalable technical designs, ensuring that configuration and development align perfectly with architectural blueprints.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate high-level solution architecture into detailed, executable Salesforce technical designs and specifications
  • Oversee the design and implementation of solutions within Salesforce Education Cloud, ensuring best-practice use of the data model and automation capabilities
  • Work closely with developers and configurators to guide execution, conduct design reviews, and ensure technical debt is minimised
  • Establish and enforce Salesforce design standards, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with broader enterprise systems

Requirements

  • Salesforce Design Lead
  • 7 years
  • Education Cloud Nuances: Deep, specialised knowledge of Salesforce Education Cloud (including HEDA/EDA and the OmniStudio ecosystem). You must understand the unique data models and workflows specific to the education sector
  • Technical Design Roots: A strong background in Salesforce development or technical architecture, with the ability to create detailed technical design documents (TDDs) and map complex data flows
  • OmniStudio Proficiency: Proven experience designing digital experiences and guided processes using OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures)
  • Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architects on one side and technical delivery teams on the other, translating high-level concepts into practical build steps
  • Bachelor Degree
