Job Description:

The Salesforce Delivery Manager will oversee the successful delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic objectives. The role requires extensive experience in managing Salesforce projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with global teams. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering client value.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership and management for client delivery projects
  • Project oversight, manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce solutions, ensuring projects meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manages individual projects or smaller project portfolios
  • Leads project teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts
  • Ensures timely delivery of projects within budget and scope
  • Focuses on tactical execution and operational efficiency
  • Team leadership, build and nurture high-performance teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Client collaboration, working closely with clients to understand their needs, communicate project progress, and manage expectations
  • Risk management, identify potential risks in projects and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Leading the overall delivery team to deliver the Salesforce solution which could be across multiple Clouds (i.e. Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, Revenue Cloud....)
  • Lead effective agile/scrum teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions
  • Ensuring that the solution accurately reflects and meets the defined expectations of the business
  • Identify and confirm risks/issues and appropriately manages and develops mitigating approaches
  • Follow and understand new Salesforce product and capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions
  • Manage the detailed level of effort estimates and translation to commercials for proposed solutions
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Support in interviewing prospective candidates

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) across delivery within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • A minimum of 3 years in managing medium to large-scale Salesforce projects or programs
  • Proven track record of collaborating and managing global teams
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and implementation strategies
  • Proven ability to manage project and collaborate alongside cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among team members and clients
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during project execution
  • Familiarity with commercial models, agile methodologies and project management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering client value
