We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record of translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. This role plays a critical part in optimizing business processes, improving system adoption, and driving data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams
Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements using interviews, workshops, and process reviews
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, and QA teams to design and deliver solutions
Configure and support Salesforce features such as objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and flows (as applicable)
Support Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integrations with external systems
Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with Salesforce best practices
Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT coordination in Agile or hybrid environments
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
Support production releases, post-deployment validation, and ongoing system optimization
Create and maintain documentation including business process maps, functional design documents, and training materials
Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
Ensure solutions align with data governance, security, and compliance standards
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst with a strong focus on Salesforce
Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative capabilities
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions
Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Experience supporting UAT and production releases
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application
Experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
Familiarity with DevOps tools and release management processes
Background in data analytics, reporting, or CRM strategy
Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small project teams
