Job Description

We are supporting a company undergoing a major technology expansion following a recent acquisition. They are transitioning Salesforce support in-house and seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst who can act as a functional liaison between the business and an offshore development team. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in business analysis, comfortable navigating Salesforce, and able to guide teams toward efficient, scalable solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and user story creation
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and offshore Salesforce developers
  • Support UAT, backlog grooming, and sprint-related activities
  • Review proposed solutions, push back on over-engineering, and promote out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality
  • Navigate Salesforce comfortably (reports, dashboards, record types, page layouts, basic setup)

Requirements

  • Strong functional BA background with hands-on Salesforce experience (primarily Sales Cloud)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with offshore teams and ensure clarity of requirements
  • Experience in an enterprise environment preferred
  • Project-based Salesforce experience valued over total years
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
