Job Responsibility:

  • Achieve sales quotas by engaging current and prospective clients within a designated territory
  • Meet activity-based targets, including customer visits, new customer acquisition, and successful product introductions
  • Prospect for new sales leads, cultivating relationships and scheduling customer visits that culminate in sales
  • Travel to client facilities to showcase company's products and provide effective solutions
  • Capture competitor data and maintain up-to-date project information within the CRM system
  • Actively participate in trade shows and marketing events to generate high-quality leads
  • Collaborate with other company's sales teams, identifying complex vision applications beyond the scope of the initial product line

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales performance in automation or similar industry
  • Uses defined sales process to deliver desired results on a consistent basis
  • Action and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to solve technical problems and learn new automation technology
  • Ability to work independently in field sales environment with limited overnight travel (up to 20%)
  • Willingness to relocate and pursue career ambition outside of familiar surroundings
  • Good listening communication skills
  • Fit company's culture of Work Hard, Play Hard and Move Fast
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windows applications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets is required
  • Experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization is required
  • 1-3 years automation product direct sales experience
