We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Support team member to join a long-term contract opportunity based in Arden, North Carolina. This position focuses on coordinating order activities, resolving day-to-day issues, and helping maintain strong communication across sales and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing urgent requests while keeping shipment and order information accurate and up to date.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and process customer orders accurately, ensuring each request moves efficiently through the fulfillment cycle
Coordinate closely with warehouse personnel to confirm order status, address delays, and support timely shipment activities
Investigate service or order-related issues, identify root causes, and drive practical solutions to keep operations on track
Respond calmly to urgent situations and shifting priorities, taking action to resolve problems as they arise
Track container and shipment reports, maintaining current information and escalating concerns when needed
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for the broader team as additional needs come up
Requirements:
Experience in sales support, post-sales support, or a similar customer-facing operational role
Hands-on ability to perform accurate order entry and manage order details with strong attention to detail
Background in inside sales, inbound sales, outbound sales, or related sales support functions
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams, including warehouse operations
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and confidence handling unexpected issues in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable managing multiple tasks, following up on open items, and keeping reports current
