We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia as a Sales Support Specialist, with the clear intention of developing into a Sales Representative. This contract-to-permanent role is designed as a career pathway—starting in sales support, where you’ll assist the sales team with administrative work, client communication, and project follow-ups, while gaining hands-on exposure to the sales process. As you build product knowledge and sales readiness, you’ll transition into a full Sales Representative role.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks
Manage client communications, including responding to inquiries, following up on projects, providing quotes, and maintaining strong relationships
Assist in the preparation of sales quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, update records, and monitor the sales pipeline
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order entry and post-sales support
Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to gather client requirements and promote company services
Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to produce reports and manage documentation
Support the sales team in achieving annual sales goals and business objectives
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance sales operations
Ensure reliable transportation for on-site client meetings or team collaboration as needed
Requirements:
Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Salesforce (preferred but not required) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Ability to stay level-headed and detail oriented in high-pressure situations
Prior experience in sales support, post-sales support, or inside sales is an advantage
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation for commuting to the office or client meetings
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
Willingness to learn and grow into a full sales representative role
