The Sales Support Specialist serves as a key customer-facing representative of Green Dot Labs and supports the company’s distribution and sales operations. This role is responsible for delivering products to retail partners in a timely and compliant manner while maintaining exceptional customer service and strong brand representation. The position supports multiple operational functions including distribution logistics, customer service, merchandising, and sales operations. Success in this role requires strong organization, time management, and communication skills while maintaining strict compliance with state and local regulations governing cannabis transportation and sales.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver products to retail partners in a timely and compliant manner across assigned delivery routes
Plan daily delivery routes using route optimization software
Load and unload delivery vehicles while ensuring all inventory and required documentation are accurate and compliant
Conduct interdepartmental product transfers as needed
Maintain delivery vehicles including fueling, basic safety checks, and general cleanliness
Serve as a professional representative of Green Dot Labs while interacting with retail customers and partners
Build and maintain positive relationships with retail staff and management
Provide excellent customer service and address customer questions or escalate inquiries
Assist with merchandising after product delivery including placement of promotional materials and displays
Deploy and maintain sales floor assets including banners, signage, tier displays, strain icons, and other marketing materials
Ensure merchandising materials are current and communicate needs or updates
Represent Green Dot Labs at retail activations, events, and promotional opportunities
Accurately receive, count, and document customer payments including cash and checks
Ensure all required delivery documentation is completed and properly recorded
Track and report daily activities within CRM and other internal systems
Support Sales Operations functions and cross-departmental initiatives as needed
Assist other departments during peak operational periods when requested
Participate in all safety training and follow company safety policies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
Ability to obtain and maintain an active MED badge
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
Working knowledge of or ability to learn and comply with applicable state and local cannabis regulations including transportation, recordkeeping, packaging, and product safety requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and reach for extended periods
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods while operating a delivery vehicle
Ability to safely load and unload product inventory
Must be at least 25 years of age due to company vehicle insurance requirements
Nice to have:
Experience in delivery operations, logistics, or route planning
Experience in customer service or retail environments
Familiarity with CRM systems or route planning software
Experience working in the cannabis industry
