The Sales Support Representative plays a key role in qualifying inbound leads, passing qualified opportunities to closers, and managing assigned customer accounts, acting as a primary point of contact within the sales organization. This position is relationship-focused and consultative rather than closing-heavy.
Job Responsibility:
Qualify inbound warm leads via phone and email to assess customer needs and next steps
Support assigned customer accounts and serve as a consistent point of contact
Maintain regular communication to build and support ongoing client relationships
Accurately document lead and account activity on Salesforce
Coordinate closely with internal sales and account teams to ensure smooth handoffs
Respond to customer inquiries related to products, pricing, availability, and order status
Track follow-ups and ensure timely responses and resolution
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in sales support, inside sales, customer service, or lead qualification
Must have Associates or Bachelors Degree- MANDATORY
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
Comfortable working the phones and communicating with customers on a daily basis
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, independent nature
Clear, professional, and personable communication style
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
Salesforce experience a plus
