Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Support/Order Processing team member to join our client's team in Chatsworth, California. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping sales operations organized, supporting customers and internal teams, and ensuring orders are handled accurately from start to finish. The right candidate will bring strong administrative skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring all information is entered correctly into company records
  • Enter and maintain sales-related data in internal databases to support smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assist the sales team with post-sale activities, helping coordinate follow-up tasks and customer needs
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries promptly and provide timely support related to orders and account information
  • Review order details for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and communicate updates to the appropriate teams
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure sales and order records remain current and accessible

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales support, order entry, or a related administrative role
  • Hands-on experience with post-sales support and managing customer or order information
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound sales support tasks in a detail-focused business environment
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail when entering and reviewing data
  • Comfortable working with databases, internal systems, and standard office software
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
