Job Description

We are recruiting a professional, structured and detail-oriented Sales Support to support our sales organisation administratively throughout the sales and bid process. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Design & Estimation and other internal stakeholders, acting as a key support function to ensure that sales opportunities, tenders and proposals are handled efficiently, accurately and in line with company processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the sales and pre-sales teams with administrative assistance throughout the bid and tender process, from opportunity creation through to win or loss
  • Supporting the sales ordering process from opportunity creation in the system (Intact) through to win or loss. Creating orders if won in the respective systems
  • Coordinating and compiling tender documentation, proposals and supporting materials, ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy and consistency
  • Managing and maintaining sales-related documentation, ensuring all customer-facing material meets Onnec’s standards and is suitable for client use
  • Updating and maintaining CRM systems and sales databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal processes
  • Supporting internal coordination between Sales, Design & Estimation, Operations, Finance and other departments to ensure smooth handovers and information flow
  • Supporting sales reporting and administrative tasks, including data input, document control and follow-up activities
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and that sales activities are supported in a structured, efficient and proactive manner
  • Handling internal and external queries professionally, acting as a point of contact for sales-related administrative matters
  • Upholding company policies, procedures and data security standards as they apply to the role

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A structured and methodical approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong administrative capabilities and confidence in supporting commercial and sales-driven activities
  • Clear and professional communication skills, comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures
  • Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales data
  • A proactive, service-minded mindset with a natural ability to support others and anticipate needs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and reliable team player
  • Comfortable handling commercially sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

  • Be the centre of excellence for ECA and Structured Trade transactions for Barclays in Europe
  • Lead in driving originators and RDs to identify ECA and Structured Trade opportunities in their portfolios and accompany originators to client meetings in order to pitch the ECA proposition
  • Use expert knowledge of ECA criteria to ensure that deals are structured correctly to gain ECA support
  • Negotiate and structure facilities, providing expert advice on pricing proposals, risk papers and documentation negotiation
  • Deliver the negotiated ECA or Structured Trade facility to meet the needs of both Barclays and the client most efficiently
