Job Responsibility:
Supporting the sales team with new business activity, including customer research and lead generation
Assisting with the development and management of the sales pipeline
Contacting prospective customers through calls, networking, and industry events
Working closely with internal teams including NPD, supply chain, and operations
Managing customer accounts, handling queries, and building strong relationships
Supporting order processing and ensuring all customer requirements are handled efficiently
Analysing sales data and reporting on performance where required
Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
Providing general sales administration support to the commercial team
Requirements:
1–3 years’ experience in a sales, commercial, or customer-facing role
A genuine interest in the food and drink industry
Confident, proactive, and willing to take a hands-on approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships easily
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and keen to develop a career within sales
