Our client is currently seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their dynamic team in Tonbridge, supporting a Business Development Manager in Europe! Job Responsibility:
Support Business Development Managers (BDMs) in achieving sales goals
Manage and execute all aspects of Sales Support for the Business Development Managers
Handle customer enquiries, product queries, and marketing needs
Provide proactive account management for assigned customers
Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
Take proactive account management responsibility for existing client accounts
Maintain regular communication with customers via email, phone, and virtual meetings
Manage customer databases and mailing lists using CRM systems
Plan and attend customer meetings (both in-person and virtual, via zoom)
Generate and analyse customer sales reports - Excel
Prepare product presentations and customer sales performance charts for zoom meetings
Maintain and update product information, including pricing and specifications
Notify customers of product updates, changes, and discontinued items
Handle customer enquiries regarding products and services
Respond to website queries, enquiry forms, and catalogue requests
Coordinate with the Marketing team to update website images and product visuals
Maintain and update customer email databases for marketing campaigns
Support weekly product e-shots with relevant product information
Plan, prepare, and attend UK and international trade fairs with the team (2 annually)
Organise travel, accommodation, and shipment of goods for trade fairs
Assist in proofreading marketing materials, including the catalogue
Provide cover and support for other colleagues in the Sales Support Team
Serve as the point of contact for incoming calls and customer inquiries
Undertake any reasonable duties requested by the Management team that fall within your ability
Contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Support team
Requirements:
An excellent communicator with an outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills
Highly organised, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy
Proficient in administration and confident in presenting information
A self-starter who can work independently and within a team
Resilient and composed, able to stay focused under pressure
Experienced in sales coordination, with at least two years in a similar role
Tech-savvy, creative flair with expertise in CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe knowledge is desirable
