The SFDC Data Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of opportunity data within Salesforce for assigned regions. Operating from the Penang hub, this role provides centralized data validation and works closely with regional sales teams to reinforce adherence to global data standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining reliable pipeline visibility and supporting forecast accuracy through disciplined data governance.
Job Responsibility:
Validate Salesforce opportunity data for: Stage accuracy and progression
Close date credibility
Deal size, product mix, and required fields
Correct data errors and inconsistencies in alignment with global standards
Enforce stage gate criteria and escalate material issues as required
Provide clear feedback to sales teams regarding data quality issues
Reinforce proper data entry practices and Salesforce standards
Partner with regional stakeholders to address recurring data quality gaps
Produce regular data quality reports and dashboards
Identify trends and systemic issues impacting pipeline integrity
Support BMO and Sales leadership with data quality insights and summaries
Support RBO ownership of sales adherence to Salesforce data standards
Collaborate with Forecast Specialists to ensure downstream forecast reliability
Align with the COE Site Lead on delivery standards, training, and best practices
Engage with BMS Commercial Vertical – Pipeline Management team for global standards and governance
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Salesforce-related roles
Strong understanding of Salesforce opportunity management
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to communicate clearly with regional stakeholders
Experience working with global or regional sales organizations
Familiarity with Salesforce validation rules and reporting
Experience in a COE or shared services environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, or a related field
