Job Description:

This position performs a variety of sales support and administrative assignments that support the overall functions of the Sales Department. Responsibilities include creating sales collateral (one pagers, case studies, presentations for prospect and finalist meetings), RFP support, data entry, generating sales reports, and maintaining CRM database.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produces and communicates reporting and analytics of sales data under the direction of the VP, Operations, and VP, Distribution, and in collaboration with Finance team
  • Performs Salesforce administration and automation in alignment with project goals. Participates in cross-functional project design teams
  • Leverages Salesforce Reporting capabilities to communicate and enhance business intelligence and analytics dashboards
  • Provides administrative support for Managing Directors including expenses, travel booking, calendar management
  • Maintain and administer sales campaigns to support corporate marketing initiatives, partners with Digital Marketing team
  • Work closely with -senior leaders on all Shared Services efforts (Marketing, Finance, Technology, etc.)
  • Supports all marketing initiatives that involve the sales department (surveys, drip marketing campaigns, conferences, and prospect events.) Partner on the development of sales material such as sales presentations, sell sheets, and other sales material to support sales strategies and initiatives
  • Maintain all sales data integrity including pipeline, new business, sales meetings, individual territory and prospect strategy
  • Provide RFP writing support to SME groups and Managing Directors to support business growth
  • Assist with all logistics around all sales team activities, including coordination of all SNS sales meetings (weekly territory calls, quarterly and annual sales meetings) including meeting logistics, creation of agendas and presentations
  • Assist with all logistics around internal sales trainings for SNS teams
  • Administer day to day activities of the Sales department (data entry, data clean up, data manipulation, report generating, pipeline/activity tracking, after-territory calls, etc.) Ensures the data integrity of Salesforce data for reporting purposes
  • Integrate and maintain all sales-related data into Salesforce, including but not limited to identifying prospect decision makers, updating contacts via LinkedIn profiles, remove old and/or outdated data, build out new prospect accounts from Data.com and other sources, clean up existing prospect accounts, etc
  • Participate in weekly Sales Territory calls and update Sales Team Account Based Strategy accordingly
  • Assist with the creation/maintenance of various distribution lists (Drip Marketing Campaigns, Holiday Cards & Gifts, etc.)
  • Participate in any ongoing benchmarking projects with key contacts/stakeholders
  • handles logistics and administrative details as needed. Uploads data to intranet library
  • Provide administrative project support for the Distribution, Sales and Client Services teams as needed

  • Maintains insurance licensing database tool for teammates that require on-going state licenses, communicating and outreaching to teammates that have renewals to ensure that we maintain proper compliance

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a business or related discipline
  • 3-5 years previous successful experience in a sales analyst or sales operations role
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting, Power BI, HubSpot, Excel Pivot Tables, Comfort with CRM Software – ability to pull data out of multiple sources and build reports
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce or CRM tools and platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-directed with ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual working environment
  • Strong organizational skills and highly developed ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Highly adaptable and capable of working in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter, independently driven to succeed
  • Approximately 10% travel for sales meetings and company-wide meetings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP’s, etc.) and experience using Salesforce for reporting of data required
  • Team player, passion to deliver outstanding results and make an impact
