Job Description:

Sales Storage Specialist role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a global edge-to-cloud company. This remote position focuses on leading pursuit for storage products and solutions, collaborating with account managers, building sales pipelines, and driving profitable deals. The role requires expertise in storage technologies and sales acumen to position HPE's solutions in the market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry or accounts
  • Creates and drives the storage sales pipeline
  • Collaborates with account pursuit teams for business development
  • Builds sales readiness through effective knowledge transfer
  • Contributes to development of quota objectives for storage product lines
  • Directs and coordinates supporting sales activities
  • Assesses solution feasibility from technical and business perspective
  • Negotiates and drives profitable deals
  • Establishes professional relationships with clients up to C-level
  • Focuses on channel relationships and co-selling
  • Leads storage marketing campaigns
  • Acts as trusted storage solutions consultant
  • Generates customer interest and anticipates buying trends
  • Cultivates customer relationships for account retention and growth

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interface with diverse business customers at all levels
  • A minimum of 6 years of sales experience
  • Experience in storage sales preferred
  • Extensive vertical industry knowledge required
  • Project management experience required
  • Storage Specialist- Sales Acumen & Behaviors
  • Technology Focus expertise in storage, cloud, solution or service offerings
  • Solutions Acumen understanding of industry and market segments
  • Leadership skills including persuasion, negotiation, motivation, coaching
  • Advanced financial acumen
  • Understanding of program/project management methods

Nice to have:

  • Experience in storage sales
  • Digital and modern sales methods knowledge
  • Understanding of business models of service providers
  • International or global account experience
