Job Description:

The role of a Sales Specialist involves supporting guests by resolving their calls, requests, or problems, utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue, and promoting the Marriott brand. Additional responsibilities include processing Marriott Rewards points, handling office duties, and ensuring professional conduct with guests and co-workers.

Job Responsibility:

Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems
Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty
Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points
Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing
Follow company policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
No supervisory experience
None required for licenses or certifications.
