Job Description

This role involves managing the South East Queensland sales territory, developing client relationships, supporting distributor partners, and driving business growth. The territory covers Brisbane metro, Bundaberg down to the Queensland-New South Wales border, across to Roma and Toowoomba, as well as the Cairns area. The position requires frequent travel for face-to-face meetings, site visits, product demonstrations and technical sales support.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and end users
  • Conduct site visits, deliver product demonstrations, and provide technical sales support
  • Develop new business opportunities across welding, manufacturing, mining, maintenance, structural steel and related industries
  • Strengthen distributor partnerships through product training, joint customer visits and collaborative sales activities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales KPIs, manage pipeline activity and report on progress
  • Use CRM insights to identify opportunities, plan territory activity and support sales forecasting
  • Stay updated on welding industry trends, workplace safety requirements and product innovations

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Strong skills in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Experience working with end users, distributors, or channel partners
  • Previous experience managing a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
