Job Description

The company is a leading supplier and manufacturer of instrumentation and software used in the pharmaceutical, nuclear medicine, life science and radiation safety fields. The position is office based in Chantilly with regular travel (50%) to customer sites across the US.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide sales quotations and technical information on the products
  • Attending and presenting at trade shows and conferences
  • Coordinate activities with the Admin and support team
  • Keeping customer records accurate and up to date using the Company CRM regularly, including brief reports of all visits

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales experience in a laboratory environment or experience in nuclear medicine
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of laboratory instrumentation and software
  • Have a high level of self-organization with a proactive approach to the role
  • An undergraduate degree in a discipline related to this role
  • Valid Drivers licence and fluent English is essential
  • Ability to work independently and comfortable with travel

  • Contributing to positive patient experiences showing empathy and genuine care: creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
  • keeping patients healthy by offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone
  • and demonstrating compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems
  • Offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and soliciting information on a patients medical history to provide optimal care, when appropriate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Taking telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber, and calling the prescriber to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes, where allowed by state regulation
