Job Description

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify incremental business opportunities and develop relevant strategies
  • Establish relationships and network with all levels of clinical and management staff, offering excellent service, back-up, and product knowledge
  • Collaborate in territory management alongside the Regional Sales Manager, Marketing team, and Corporate Accounts teams
  • Provide market information and data to develop a sound understanding of the marketplace
  • Coordinate and provide education and ongoing training throughout trials and implementations of Baxter Products
  • Continue ongoing product support starting from implementation and following the complete product life cycle
  • Ensure Baxter product information material provided to customers has been approved by Marketing and/or Medical Affairs.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Nursing, Medical Science or related fields
  • Proven Sales/Account Management within the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical sector
  • Ability to operate effectively within a high-achieving group
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Effective negotiation skills with the ability to influence collaborators and decision-makers at all levels
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to express technical and conceptual information clearly
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a determination to succeed
  • Highly customer-focused with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Willingness to adapt working hours and travel to other states as needed
  • Valid QLD Driver's License.
