Job Responsibility:
Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email about products and quote requests
Proactively contact customers (“warm leads”) to develop sales opportunities
schedule customer appointments for field sales team when relevant
Assist with marketing campaigns, tradeshows, etc.
Upsell service contracts and reagents
Requirements:
BS in life sciences
3 years experience in customer support/sales of life science products
Familiarity with accounts (academic, biotech and pharma) in the regions a plus
Basic knowledge of protein and/or cell based techniques (westerns, flow cytometry, elisas, etc.)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong collaborative skills – ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
Nice to have:
Familiarity with accounts (academic, biotech and pharma) in the regions
