Job Description

About the Role Reporting to the First Line Sales Leader, this exciting NEW hybrid position combines both Sales Representative and Sales Effectiveness. You will act as the Sales Representative for the Primary Care Sales Team to deliver sustainable sales growth on your territory, while also leading and managing sales effectiveness activities and initiatives nationwide. The sales territory covers Dunedin and surrounding southern areas of the South Island. The role can be based in either Dunedin or Auckland, with regular travel required. As the Sales Representative / Sales Effectiveness Associate, you will: Drive sales of GSK medicines in line with approved indications (Medsafe NZ) and brand strategy Deliver strong territory performance by achieving activity KPIs and executing agreed growth tactics Be a trusted therapy-area expert with up-to-date product, disease, and industry knowledge Operate with integrity and compliance while managing budgets and company assets responsibly Drive sales reporting adoption: Support field teams to interpret reports, flag data/logic issues, and reinforce a single trusted source of truth Enable effective targeting & territory execution: Provide operational support for targets/segmentation and help the field get ready for territory or deployment changes (including Veeva/Excel execution) Boost change readiness and tool rollouts: Assist with training, local communications, FAQs/support materials, and post-launch issue capture to improve adoption of new systems and processes Be the 'voice of the field' + continuous improvement: Maintain stakeholder touchpoints, bring sales pain points into projects, simplify processes, and improve workflows (including account maintenance/DCR support and omnichannel enablement) To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven field-based sales experience (or a similar customer-facing background) Track record in Sales Effectiveness—turning insights into action and results Tech-savvy and confident in presenting virtually, using modern digital selling tools Positive, motivated, and collaborative—ready to learn fast, work cross‑functionally, and travel regularly across your territory By joining GSK, you will enjoy: A Great Salary + Company Car + Sales Bonus Being part of a supportive culture, that allows you to do your best work every day Career development and progression on a global scale, with both national and international opportunities
