The territory, consisting of the central NY, western NY, and the capital region (Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany areas), offers the ideal mix of opportunities, from well-established mature business relationships with area producers to robust market development opportunities. In this role, you will serve as the key liaison between producers, customers and the company to drive sales goals and personal success.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and manage a large, dynamic territory
Serve as the key liaison between producers, customers and the company to drive sales goals and personal success
Effectively utilize the full range of resources to ensure quota attainment
Develop and continually improve product knowledge, sales skills, and competitive intelligence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Life & health license (if not currently licensed, licensing must be obtained upon hire)
2+ years of experience selling employee benefits
Established broker network within the territory
Must be located in the territory
Must be able to travel 2-3 days per week within the territory
Excellent driving record is required
Must be insurable under corporate insurance carrier
