Job Description

The Sales Processing Specialist works closely with our sales team and other departments ensuring that purchase orders are processed in a timely manner and all customer inquiries are addressed promptly. In this position, providing excellent customer service is a prime responsibility.

Job Responsibility

  • Uses appropriate resources to accurately and efficiently respond to requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from commercial customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and always provides excellent customer service.
  • Ensures that orders are entered into the database in a timely manner and without error.
  • Consistently communicates with customers regarding status of orders.
  • Follows each order processed to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Utilizes resources to establish credit status on rush orders.
  • Maintains database of active orders and posts changes regarding scheduling, partial shipments, and credit.
  • Performs duties where some judgment is required when communicating with customers, sales representatives, and intercompany personnel.
  • Provides status reports to management, as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in a corresponding field, preferred
  • will consider relevant years’ experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a customer and/or sales support role.
  • Requires a consistent and dependable work history, ideally reflecting 3-5 years of tenure with each previous employer.
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain good rapport with customers at all times.
  • Ability to quickly learn FuelMaster equipment, components, parts and their functions.
  • Ability to learn corresponding databases such as Visual and Dynamic CRM.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient with data entry.
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage time and remain organized, especially when under pressure.
