Job Description:

The Sales Planning Manager (Automotive) is a pivotal role designed for a highly analytical professional who can bridge the gap between corporate vision and operational execution. You will be responsible for transforming complex market data and supply constraints into a precise, actionable national sales plan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the comprehensive national sales forecast for all vehicle models
  • Translate high-level corporate objectives into achievable regional and dealer-level targets
  • Integrate market intelligence and product launch timelines into precise demand planning
  • Orchestrate the national vehicle allocation process to optimize stock levels and minimize aging inventory
  • Synchronize with global supply chain and factory teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Design and manage sophisticated performance dashboards to provide senior management with actionable insights
  • Analyze competitor activities and sales trends to identify emerging market risks and opportunities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of retail campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations for incentive programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in sales planning or commercial finance within the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query and complex formulas, and experience with BI tools like Power BI
  • Proven ability to navigate and utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across various departments
