As a Sales Planner for FreeWheel’s Buyer Cloud (our demand-side platform), you’ll serve as a strategic partner to agency and advertiser clients, as well as our internal Campaign Services team, with a focus on helping them win and grow their customer relationships. You’ll work cross-functionally with Revenue and Campaign Services teams to deliver the resources, forecasts, and media plans clients need to successfully pitch and execute campaigns on our platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, storytelling, and strategy. It offers high growth potential and a direct impact on customer success and revenue, without being in a direct sales position.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with agency and advertiser clients to develop RFP responses, client-ready pitch decks, and media plans that showcase the value of our platform
Run inventory forecasts and avails in partnership with our internal Campaign Services team and clients’ in-house trading teams
Work with Inventory Desk and Data Desk teams to source relevant inventory, deals, and audience data
Build tailored programmatic recommendations by leveraging platform capabilities, inventory insights, and data-driven strategies
Package performance insights, audience opportunities, and platform capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for client use
Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Trading Specialists to ensure consistency between planning and campaign execution
Maintain expertise in agency holding company structures, vertical nuances, and industry trends
Support the creation and upkeep of reusable proposal templates, case studies, and enablement collateral
Track and prioritize multiple requests, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Requirements:
2 - 4 years of experience in digital media planning, sales planning, or ad operations at an agency, publisher, or ad tech company
Strong understanding of programmatic media, including inventory types, targeting approaches, and performance KPIs
Excellent communication and presentation design skills
Analytical thinker comfortable with interpreting data to guide strategic recommendations
Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities across multiple client projects
Collaborative team player who thrives at the intersection of sales, client success, and trading
Bachelor's Degree
