Job Description

We’re looking for a Sales Person with detailed knowledge of building materials, to join the team at our Shrewsbury Monkmoor branch. In this role, you’ll be a key part of our branch’s success by building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, supporting your teammates, and helping to grow sales and profitability.

Job Responsibility

  • Building connections with customers in person or over the phone
  • Creating tailored solutions by putting together quotes, following up on enquiries, and turning leads into real opportunities
  • Handling day to day admin
  • Offering guidance to customers on choosing the right products
  • Enhancing the shopping experience by keeping displays tidy, well stocked, and easy to browse
  • Collaborating with the team across the branch, including the yard and counter

Requirements

  • Experience in a builders' merchant or a sales-focused role
  • Confident sales professional with strong knowledge of building materials and a passion for helping customers find the right products
  • Experience leading or supporting a team would be a real advantage
