We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Partnership Specialist to drive growth for our Shopify app through direct sales, partner collaborations, and strategic relationship management. This role will focus on acquiring new merchants, building strong agency/tech partnerships, and expanding our app’s presence within the Shopify ecosystem. You’ll be at the intersection of sales, business development, and partnerships, working closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver scalable revenue and long-term collaborations.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and target prospective Shopify merchants who would benefit from our app
Lead outreach campaigns, product demos, and closing of new business opportunities
Manage a sales pipeline, track conversions, and consistently achieve targets
Build and nurture relationships with Shopify agencies, consultants, and technology partners
Negotiate and execute partnership agreements that drive mutual value
Represent our app in the Shopify partner ecosystem, including marketplaces, forums, and events
Collaborate with marketing on co-marketing campaigns and joint events with partners
Work with product teams to provide feedback on merchant and partner needs
Identify new opportunities for integrations, collaborations, and ecosystem expansion
Maintain strong post-sale relationships with key partners and merchants to ensure ongoing value
Upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts to maximize lifetime value
Track and report partner and merchant success metrics
Requirements:
Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or partnerships (Shopify or e-commerce ecosystem preferred)
Strong understanding of Shopify merchants, apps, and agency/tech partner landscape
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and partnership management practices
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for e-commerce and technology

Nice to have:
Prior experience working with Shopify apps or in the Shopify Partner Program
Established relationships with e-commerce agencies, app developers, or consultants
Background in digital marketing, affiliate/partner programs, or channel sales
